1. How much is this Scholarship for?
We give away one or two $1000 scholarship(s) per year.

2. What is the deadline for applying for the scholarship?
The deadline for the next scholarship is December 31th, 2008.

3. How am I contacted if I am selected as a winner?
You will receive an email within 10 days of the application deadline. The funds will be sent to the institution on behalf of the winner.

4. Who is eligible?
Anyone who is attending or anyone aspiring to attend a university, college, trade school, technical institute, vocational training or other post-secondary education program in the 2008-2009 or 2009-2010 school year. You must submit an essay explaining in 750 words or less on
how you think the effects of global warming will affect the earth in the next 100 years. If you do not believe in global warming, then your essay should be about how you disagree with the scientists that say global warming is true.

5. I don't have the best GPA; will that hurt me?
No. We think if someone is making an effort and going to college, they deserve a chance regardless of their GPA.

6. How long does the essay have to be?
You may choose the exact length of the essay, 200-300 words is about average.
