Monetary Award Program (MAP) - The Monetary Award Program (MAP) provides grants, which do not need to be repaid, to Illinois residents who demonstrate financial need, based on the information provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students are not required to submit high school grades or test scores when applying for a MAP grant.
Illinois Incentive for Access (IIA) Program - Students whose information provided on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) results in a calculated zero expected family contribution when they’re college freshmen may be eligible to receive the Illinois Incentive for Access Program grant for up to $500. Bonus Incentive Grant (BIG) - Beneficiaries of Illinois College Savings Bonds may be eligible to receive a Bonus Incentive Grant. The amount of the grant will depend on the amount of the bond, ranging from a $40 to $440 grant per $5,000 of the bond. Student to Student Grant - The Student to Student (STS) Program of Matching Grants is available to undergraduates at participating state-supported colleges through voluntary contributions from students and matching grants from the State. Each participating college determines its own eligibility criteria and application process. |
